I've created this page to highlight some of my past, present and future projects to try to give my clients a better understanding of what I do. I indeed on itemizing this projects as time allows.
Past: A lot of work from the past few years has involved databases and application design. That is what I specialized in for a few years after high school. A lot of that work contained sensitive information and even more involved non-disclosure agreements that keeps me from demoing a lot of the DB projects I managed. Suffice it to say that I specialized in Microsft Access databases with an emphasis on middle-ware and 3rd party applications. Present: My current work is overwhelming at times. I am closing a project with Gaucho Inc. - a retail women's fashion store in the downtown Savannah, GA area. I was contracted to setup and install a sound system for their store (I used Last.fm to replace their Comcast music subscription), to setup and configure a point-of-sale (POS) system, to setup and configure a wifi network and run voice lines. We are in the final stages and actually looking at using Skype for their business voice lines. Future: I would like to focus more on 3D modeling and application design. My largest planned project involves the recreation of a past encryption application that I created with Microsoft Access and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). The goal of the project is to educate the masses on the subject of cryptology and where it stands in today's society. I will be creating an interactive tutorial with Flash that instructs and challenges the user in the many different types of ciphers and coding that were used throughout history. |
